
Bajra Cooler

And if they come packed with proteins then it’s definitely bound to top the list.
This Bajra cooler recipe is inspired by age Indian traditional drink that’s used in hot regions to fight against extreme heat. This Bajra cooler will help your body cool down and fight the infections caused during summer.

Bajra Cooler
Ingredients:
- 2 cups curd
- 1 glass water
- 1/4th cup bajra (pearl millet) flour (roasted)
- Chilies (cut in pieces) As per taste [Optional]
- Fresh coriander (cut in pieces) As per taste
- Mint leaves (As per the taste)
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp Saunf (fennel seeds)
- 5-6 leaves of curry leaves
- Salt (As per taste)
Procedure
- Mix curd and water together and create buttermilk
- Add roasted Bajra flour to the buttermilk.
- Add Salt, Chilies, coriander, cumin powder to the mixture and mix well.
- Now create tempering with ghee, mustard seeds & curry leaves.
- Add on top of the buttermilk-bajra flour mixture.
- Mix well and garnish with Sunf & mint leaves before serving.
