COVID-19 Diet










1️⃣ Stock up on food options 🥦🍚Fresh and Frozen both works . The goal is to still eat balanced meals while we are going to the store less 🚗⠀
And reduce stress around having only ‘clean’/fresh food available.
2️⃣ Try something new!
Maybe your ‘staples’ aren’t available. Maybe you never had time to cook a meal with your loved ones; now is the time.
Buy something new and have fun with it!
To make a balanced meal;
Get your CARBS from grains (wheat, Jowar, Bajra, Nachni, Dalia, Oats, cornflakes, wheat flakes, quinoa etc.)
Get your PROTEINS from sprouts, pulses, dairy products (milk, curd, buttermilk,paneer etc), Nonveg items (eggs, chicken, fish etc)
Get your VITAMINS and MINERALS from fruits, vegetables, dry fruits, nuts, seeds etc.
3️⃣ You still need carbs even though you may be more sedentary. You need fuel in order to support your body at this time. Right now is not the time to resort to restriction. Your immune system needs a varied diet and sleep, not crazy supplements/boosts people are selling.⠀
