Green Ginger Smoothie


Baby spinach and green apples combine to create the delicious green color of this smoothie with lots of iron you’ll want to make again and again. Hemp seeds are an excellent source of plant protein, and they’re also packed with omega-3s, omega-6 fatty acids, fiber, magnesium, and a whole host of other benefits.
Ingredients
2 cup baby spinach leaves
1 chopped green apple
3/4 cup coconut water
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp. hemp seeds
3 tsp. minced fresh ginger
1 tsp. raw honey
1 1/2 cup ice cubes

Directions
In a blender, add 2 cups packed baby spinach, 1 chopped Granny Smith apple, 3/4 cup coconut water, 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice, 2 tbsp. hemp seeds, 2 to 3 tsp minced fresh ginger, 1 tsp raw honey, and 1 1/2 cups ice cubes until smooth.
Divide between 2 glasses and serve.
