DAHI BHALLA WITH A HEALTHY TWIST

Dahi Bhalla Hack! You’re gonna wish you knew earlier!

Here’s a recipe for your favourite Dahi Bhalle that you don’t need to fry, and save yourself 50% calories!!

We all are huge fans of Dahi Vada or Dahi Bhalla Chaat. Traditionally, Dahi Vada is prepared by frying in oil. Soaking fried Dahi Vada in water removes excess oil. Still, if you do not prefer fried Chaat then these Dahi Vadas cooked in steam are especially for you.

DAHI BHALLA WITH A HEALTHY TWIST

Ingredients:

Moong dal, 1/2 Cup

Urad dal, 1/2 Cup

Water, 400ml

Salt, to taste

Eno,1 sachet

Dahi, 1 Cup

Pomegranate

Mint chutney

Imli chutney

Jeera powder

Salt

Pepper

Instructions:

1. Wash & Soak Urad Dal & Moong Dal in water for 3 Hours.

2. Blend into a thick batter in a grinder.

3. Make the batter fluffy by adding air into it using an electric whisker.

4. Check if the batter floats in water, else whisk more.

5. Add 1 sachet Eno/Fruit Salt and Salt to taste.

6. Mix well.

7. Grease an ldli Tray and pour 1 tbsp batter into the sections

8. Steam for 15 Mins.
