Crunchy Chili-Spiced Chickpeas

Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside,
This Air Fryer Crunchy Chili-Spiced Chickpeas are delicious as a crunchy topper for salads, creamy soups, or grain bowls.

Crunchy Chili-Spiced Chickpeas

Ingredients

  • 1 bowl chickpeas, soaked overnight, rinsed and drained  
  • 1 tbsp olive oil 
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Finely grated lime zest, for serving

Directions

  • Dry chickpeas very well with paper towels.
  • In a medium bowl, toss chickpeas, oil, chili powder, and salt.
  • Mix well.
  • Transfer chickpea mixture to an air-fryer basket.
  • Cook at 370° until crispy and golden brown [10 to 14 minutes].
  • Serve chickpeas warm or at room temperature.
  • Add the grated lime zest over top.
