This Grain Free Pasta is a healthy twist to super nostalgic pasta that screams comfort food!
It’s a recipe that everyone from children to adults love.
It is healthy and delicious with lot of nutritional benefits as it includes richness of broccoli, spinach, chickpeas and jowar too which makes it healthier.

Grain-free Pasta

Ingredients:

Pasta:
300g jowar flour
250g broccoli
100g spinach leaves
2 tsp salt
Pinch of pepper

Sauce:
250g chickpeas (boiled n mashed)
4-5 cloves of garlic
200 g pureed tomatoes
100 g tomato paste
Italian herbs
Salt pepper

Toppings: basil

Preparation:

  1. Cook broccoli until soft, then mash.
  2. Blanch spinach leaves and make a puree.
  3. Knead Jowar flour well.
  4. Add mashed broccoli, spinach puree and salt, pepper to kned and form a firm ball of dough.
  5. Using scissors, cut the dough over boiling water, let it cook for 5 minutes, then drain
  6. Put a pan on low flame, Add oil to it let it simmer.
  7. Add garlic and mashed chickpeas, pureed tomatoes and tomato paste Saute it.
  8. Season with Italian herbs, salt, pepper and fold in the broccoli pasta
  9. Add basil for garnish
    Tadaaaa… your yummy grain free healthy broccoli pasta is ready to serve!
