Makhana Raita

Makhana Raita

Ingredients:


Makhana 50gms
Curd 500gms
Pomegranate pearls 25gms
Chopped mint leaves 1tbsp
Chopped coriander leaves 1tbsp
Salt as per taste
Jeera powder 1 tsp
Chilli powder 1/2 tsp
Honey to drizzle on top (optional)

Procedure:

  • Get Makhana dry roasted and keep aside to cool off.
  • ⁠Put curd in a big mixing bowl.
  • ⁠Add chopped mint leaves, chopped coriander leaves, salt, jeera powder and chilli powder and mix well.
  • ⁠Add roasted Makhana to this curd mixture.
  • ⁠Add pomegranate pearls from the top and mix gently.
  • ⁠Drizzle the honey over this mixture just before serving.
  • ⁠Serve fresh to enjoy the crunchy texture.
