
Immunity booster chutney

Immunity booster chutney
Ingredients
- 2 Guava (Amrood)
- 2 Gooseberry (Amla)
- 1 Onion
- 1 tsp. Mustard Seeds
- 10-12 leaves Curry Leaves
- 1 tablespoon Chana Dal (Bengal Gram)
- 1 tablespoon Urad Dal (Black Gram)
- 2-3 Dry Red Chilies
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- Salt as per taste
Instructions
- Roast the guava, amla, and onion on a pan or over direct flame until slightly charred.
- Let them cool, then peel off the charred skin and remove the seeds (seed removal optional for guava).
- Heat the oil.
- Add mustard seeds to oil and let them splutter.
- Add curry leaves, chana dal, urad dal and dried red chilies.
- Fry until the dals turn golden.
- In a blender, combine the roasted and peeled guava, amla, and onion with the tempering mixture.
- Add salt to taste.
- Blend into a smooth chutney (add a little water if needed to adjust the consistency).
- Transfer the chutney to a bowl.
- You can prepare some tempering again and add on top for garnish
- Enjoy this flavorful and nutrient-packed chutney as a side dish with meals or as a dip!
