Here is an amazing delicious and healthy instant smoothie recipe for busy mornings that is made up of two very simple ingredients: MANGO & RAGI.

It is not only healthy and refreshing but is filling as well.
Ragi is the richest source of calcium and provides dietary fiber, minerals and proteins as well.
Mango on the other hand is a brilliant source of various vitamins, minerals, dietary fiber and is truly the flavor of summer.
This power packed delightful smoothie high in fiber, calcium, iron and filled with the goodness of antioxidants is truly a treat and a perfect smoothie recipe for people trying to lose weight as well.

Mango Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Milk (use Plant milk if prefer Vegan)
  • 1/4 cup Ragi Flour
  • 1 cup Mango Puree
  • 1/4 cup Pomegranate pearls for garnish
  • 1/4 cup slices of Strawberry for garnish
  • 1 Tb almond slices for garnish
  • 1 tbsp Chia Seeds for garnish
  • Few mint leaves for garnish

Instructions 

  • In a saucepan add in 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 cup milk.
  • add in ¼ cup of ragi flour. Mix well. Such that the flour is completely dissolved and no lumps remain.
  • Now switch on the stove and keep cooking on a low flame. [Keep stirring continuously to avoid lumps.]
  • Stop cooking when the mix will get thick and glossy.
  • Allow it to cool down completely.
  • Next add in the Mango puree and mix well such that there are no lumps and the ragi and mango puree are complete mixed evenly.
  • Transfer it to a serving bowl.
  • Top it with Strawberry slices, pomegranate pearls and Almond slices.
  • Finally garnish with chia seeds , mint leaves and serve.
